I feel incredibly connected to mother earth these days. We have an active volcano ejecting lava at a steady pace. It started a few days ago and appears to be a small one, steady but a "safe" eruption This is adding excitement into our lives when faced with the fourth coronavirus wave and new restrictions in the upcoming weeks.
I'm sure you've seen wonderful footage and clips from the scene of this miracle. The last eruption on this Reykjanes peninsula took place 800 years ago, so you can only imagine how attractive the event is. Here is the direct transmission.
This lava has taken some time to reach the surface. It has been forcing itself through cracks and fissures and we've known that something was cooking by all the earthquakes we've had for the past 3 weeks or so. Eventually, it reached the surface on the 19th of March at 21:20 and nobody noticed! There was a citizen in one of the villages close by who saw some light being ejected toward the sky and a little later it was confirmed.
When lava comes out from the earth it can be up to 1200 degrees Celsius (2200 degrees Fahrenheit). The brighter the lava, the hotter. In the same way, the “blacker” the lava, the colder. Recently solidified and blackened lava can be a lot hotter than expected. Its solid surface can be hiding boiling liquid lava underneath. There can be a lot going on under the surface and the semi-solidified lava on top is fragile. When pressure is increased it can cause it to break and the lava-flow comes gushing out.
It so happens that I have often compared my coaching to a core. My other launch is Coaching 2 the Core. For me coaching means going deep, to dig and find the core of our actions and reactions. It also means to let it all out, to let go and allow the flow of emotions to come gushing out. Somewhat like the lava flow underneath us which awaits its chance to reach the surface. I sense that our intuition is directly connected to our core and we need to keep this connection going, flowing and ever glowing.
But this was not going to be a blog to boost my business. This is simply an ode to mother earth.
Rejoice greatly for Lava Love!
