Smallenge

We are often stuck in the idea that changes we want to make need to be HUGE. It can feel overwhelming and daunting to start planning. Therefore, we do not do anything. We just wish, wait and hope. We do not even know where to begin.

What you may not realize is that any small change leads to more change. Just do something different. If you want to get unstuck with less effort, then leverage the power of a humble start that will help create the momentum for the bigger changes. Strange, but it works!

Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day; while failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day. It is the accumulative weight of our disciplines and our judgments that leads us to either fortune or failure. - Jim Rohn

So, I'm going to pose a SMALLENGE to you! A challenge where any small change will do!!!

In your case, it might be how you approach your job search.

This works because it gets you unstuck and into the change mode. The momentum will get you going on a roll, and before you know it, you’ll be making bigger and bigger changes with less effort.

Consider to:

  1. Treat job searching like a real job.

  2. Reserve time for it every day.

  3. Turn it into a habit to attend to your career development.
